We woke up after having had a good night’s sleep on the ultra soft beds in the Travelodge and enjoyed our little Breakfast Bags before packing up what we had brought up into the room, checking out, and leaving for Markfield.
We made a brief stop at Rhuddlan Castle before heading onward. We stopped off again in Uttoxeter where we ate some nice food at Little Chef, but then I decided to try the rice pudding and it turned out to be revolting!! Fortunately the pudding wasn't on our bill so we paid and left for home straight away!!
We arrived home in Markfield, safe and aound by around 3pm and had a nice cup of tea. Shame we have to go to work again....!
