We returned home after a long slog along the motorways and main roads which
seemed strange after being in such remote areas for a while, but we arrived
back in the land of reality at around 4pm for a nice cup of tea.
A blog documenting holidays, travels, visits to nice places, with lots of photos!

Wednesday June 27th
This morning we had a lovely breakfast despite being woken
up by the TV at 3:30am when it suddenly turned on…! We have no idea how this happened! Add that to the oddity of the suction mounted
loo roll holder and towel holder which kept falling off (of course). What puzzled me was that the bathrobe hook
was nailed to the wall….... Anyway, everything else was absolutely
fine, and today we travelled homeward bound to Markfield. But not before stopping off at Hawes in
Wensleydale for cheese tasting and buying of course! If you ever go there, try Bishopdale
cheese. It is our current
favourite! And yes, of course I bought
some sweets there too. I couldn’t resist
sherbet and lollies…. ;)
