Today we went for a walk to a place known as
Golden Cap. It is actually part of a much
larger walk known as the Smuggler's Trail, but we just did a short part,
walking up Golden Cap which is the highest part of the Jurassic
Coastline!

After this, we went to
Forde Abbey House and Gardens.
The Abbey used to be a monastery for 400
years before the Dissolution, when it was handed over to the crown, and after a
time, was transformed into a private home.
The gardens took a good while to explore as they are HUGE!
There is certainly a lot to see here, and I
bet it looks amazing in the height of summer.
